At our Gaildorf site we offer decades of experience from thousands of projects with a large, ultra-modern machinery and know-how transfer. We enable flexible utilization by working in three shifts. We can offer the pickup and return of the components to the customer with our own trucks.

In 1930 the company Bott was founded in Gaildorf as a mechanical workshop by Mr. Wilhelm and Mrs. Johanna Bott. The hardening shop was established in 1946. Salt baths were first used for heat treatment on a wide range of steel components. The first protective atmosphere furnace was purchased in 1969. Since the available space was no longer sufficient, the company moved to a newly built production hall in 1987. By 1998 the capacity was expanded to seven multi-purpose batch furnaces, four vacuum hardening furnaces, four nitriding furnaces, a burnishing plant, a phosphating plant and blasting capacities (glass beads and steel shot). The Dutch technology specialist Aalberts NV then acquired the hardening shop in 1998. In 2018 a new hall for outgoing goods was built and in 2019 a new production hall for the nitriding process was completed.
For over 90 years now, we in Gaildorf have been experts in various heat treatment processes for steel workpieces. In addition to its economic importance, our hardening shop also takes its social responsibility seriously.
