Our processes deliver its functional mechanical properties to our customer’s parts. Our organization and our resources, help us to guarantee short delivery delays, from single part to high volumes. We support our customers, by searching and advising on the adapted treatment for each parts, in function of the desired mechanical performance, reliability and durability.

Induction treatment:
Possible treatments: quenching/tempering, brazing, annealing. Advantages: localized treatment, good repeatability, localized deformations.
Vacuum treatment:
Possible treatments: quenching/tempering, aging, annealing, solution heat treatment. Advantages: cleanliness of parts, limited deformation, treatment of a large number of alloyed steels, limited reworking during machining, recommended for aeronautical/medical/precision parts.
Low pressure treatment:
Possible treatments: carburizing, carbonitriding, annealing, solution treatment. Advantages: appearance of the parts (no scale), reduction of the carbon footprint, low rework in machining, possibility of optimizing the deformation thanks to the adjustment of the cooling parameters.
Atmosphere treatment:
Possible treatments: oil quenching/tempering, carbonitriding, carburizing, annealing. Advantages: no decarburization, reliability, diversity of atmosphere TTHs, treating parts with low hardenability.
Ionic nitriding:
Possible treatments: plasma nitriding, max depth 0.3 mm. Advantages: very little deformation, possible protection, treatment on finished parts, treatment at low temperature, treatment on stainless steels.

thermochemical processes

Plasma Nitriding
During the process, surface is enriched with nitrogen in order to improve the first layer of surface mechanical properties.
Carburizing
The surface is doped with carbon in order to improve mechanical properties.
Carbonitriding
First layer of surface is doped with carbon and nitrogen in order to improve surface mechanical properties. The process is similar to carburizing but for steel with more than 0.3% of carbon content inside.

thermic processes

Quenching and tempering
This process only requires heating and cooling with specific speed and time. It allows us to adjust mechanical properties in the range possible with the desired material.
Annealing
In the opposite of quenching, the parts a e slowly cooled in order to return in a stable state and to reduce internal stress.
Sub-zero treatment
It is required for some steel grades to cool down to sub-zero degree Celsius between quenching and tempering in order to achieve a better rate of structure transformation.
