It’s been exactly 1 year since the Pulversheim plant has had a workplace accident resulting a sick leave. On this World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we wanted to share the new measures we have put in place to improve the safety, health, and well-being of our teams!

1. new respiratory masks

It is compulsory for our painters to wear a respirator all day long. To improve working comfort while maintaining the best possible protection, we have replaced the traditional cartridge mask with an adjustable assisted ventilation one. It maintains a breathing zone around the mouth and nose under pressure to assist breathing by eliminating any tiring resistance for the lungs. Lightweight and self-contained, it improves operator comfort while leaving them completely free to move.

2. exosquelette

As part of our efforts to prevent musculoskeletal disorders in operators who carry repetitive loads, we have equipped ourselves with an exoskeleton. Motorized, it protects our employees’ backs in their movements. It limits the pressure exerted on the back by distributing the load over the pelvis using motorized jacks. In this way, we improve working conditions, reduce fatigue, and protect the health of our employees.

3. self-service fruit

Health is also important in the break room! That’s why management has replaced the dispenser of chocolate bars and high-sugar drinks with fruit. Throughout the day, our teams have self-service access to the vitamins, antioxidants, fiber, and minerals they need to stay in good shape.
