NANOFINISH®
Based on very thin layers, NANOFINISH® follows the contour of the relevant part, creating infiltration resistant nonstick coatings.
Damage to the surface coating usually leads to infiltration of the function layers. This is not the case with nanocoating: NANOFINISH® ensures that the damage is restricted to the local area.
- Properties
Nanofinish® is a infiltration resistant nonstick coating. It prevents the protective coating at the damaged point from being infiltrated by gas or liquid. The defect remains localized and cannot spread to other parts of the workpiece. Nanofinish® also offers excellent corrosion protection.

NANOFINISH® can be applied to almost any substrate.
- Application
This nanocoating is particularly well suited for polished components and high precision applications, e.g. as an ultra-thin nonstick coating for easy removal of molded parts or as a protective film for a wide range of surfaces. This type of high-performance surface refining is used e.g. to coat casting molds for the electronics industry and medical products. Nanofinish® also offers excellent corrosion protection for a wide range of applications requiring high precision and consistent functionality.

ORMOCER®
An outstanding feature of the transparent nanocoating Ormocer® is its high resistance to scratching. It is similar to glass - not only because ti is crystal clear, but because it is just about as hard as glass. It significantly reduces the cloudiness of polycarbonates.
- Properties
This inorganic-organic hybrid polymer is transparent as well as resistant to scratching. Its functionality can be expanded as needed by adding properties such as: Coloring, resistance to dirt and water.

- Application
These are a few of the common applications that use our ORMOCER®:
Optical industry:
- Visors on motorcycle helmets resist scratching and cloudiness (panes and eyeglasses are also treated with our excellent anti-fog coating.)
- Glass objects such as prisms, lenses or camera objectives are replaced with much lighter plastic parts
